David is a highly skilled and licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager with over 20 years of comprehensive engineering background from federal, state, municipal, and land development perspectives.

As a design engineer, his experience includes single and multi-family residential, commercial and big box retail, industrial warehouse, mixed-use, parks/trails, military facilities, airport runways, public infrastructure and electrical substations.

As a leader of the City of Dallas Engineering Division, David successfully worked with the development community and public departments on hundreds of projects. He was also instrumental in updating and improving standards, policies, software, and processes.

As a director of land development in the private residential housing sector, he lead a team of project managers, coordinators and superintendents, and worked with consultants and contractor on over 24 projects, +3,000 lots, - worth over $1.2B.

His passion continues to be bridging gaps between public organizations, developers, engineers and contractors.

Kona is our environmental site assessment specialist with over 7 years of experience.

Known around the office as the ultimate environmental site inspector with over 8 years of experience, Kona ensures that no detail, squirrel, frog, pigeon or gecko goes unnoticed. His morning patrols double as thorough site surveys, with every inch meticulously checked and approved with a wag of his tail.

Kona's geotechnical skills are legendary, making him the go-to expert for excavation and foundation checks.

When he's not busy on-site, Kona can be found "reviewing" blueprints (or at least nibbling on them) and brightening the office with his playful antics. With Kona on the team, every project is guaranteed to be a pawsitive success!
